IR Legal is pleased to share another successful outcome achieved by our Employment Law team in an employment dispute involving a breakdown in the employment relationship.

Our client approached IR Legal after receiving a without prejudice settlement offer from their employer. The relationship between the client and employer had deteriorated to the point where the employment relationship was considered irreparable.

The client sought advice on whether to accept or reject the employer's initial offer and instructed one of our experienced Employment Lawyers to assess the circumstances and negotiate on their behalf.

Strategic Negotiation Achieves Significant Increase

Rather than simply advising on the initial offer, our employment lawyer entered into negotiations with the employer, carefully assessing the circumstances and the client's legal and commercial position.

Through strategic negotiation and strong advocacy, we were able to secure a settlement of just over $90,000 for our client.

The settlement was almost double the employer's initial offer.
